Words & Actions

Today AJ shocked me. When we went to buy some more dog food for our Doxie and the girl at the store asked if AJ “wanted to give the dog a cookie”. I said OK and she gave AJ a dog treat. I told AJ, “this cookie is for the dog, please give it to him” and she did!
I’m so amazed at how her level of understanding is growing in leaps and bounds that I tried to think of all of the words she knows and some of the cuter actions she does.

I KNOW I’m missing some but here’s the short list….
‘side = outside
Bird
Ni-ni = night night
Bee = bread
Dog
Mama
Dada/PaPa
Ball
Block
Book
Bath
Wa =water
di-di =diaper
bebe = baby
cee = paci
Car
Light (though she doesn’t say this much anymore)
Hi (first word)
Butt (ha I hate to admit that she knows this!)

Wee = slide

Actions (don’t they speak louder than words?)
Kiss-When asked for a kiss will present her face (sometimes with mouth wide open)
High five-hold up your hand and ask for a high five and she’ll give you one
Hug-ask for a hug and she will hug you
Clean up-she will clean up
Hand mommy ___ - she will give you so many things, shoes, phone, block, ball etc
Go to your chair-will go to her high chair to eat
Eat-will make the sign for eat
All done-will clap to say she is all done
Bye-will wave
Go upstairs-will go up stairs
Read with Momma?-will come and sit in your lap and bring a book
